Ms. Alicia Irurzun serves as Principal at Merck Ventures. She joined MS Ventures in 2014.

Alicia started her career as an analyst in global business development and licensing in 2010 at Merck Serono in Geneva. In this role she was responsible for search and evaluation efforts across therapeutic areas. Subsequently, she transitioned as a manager for global licensing and business development activities in immunology and fertility.

Over the past years, Alicia has been involved on numerous business development and licensing transactions.

Alicia holds a Bachelor Honors in Biomedical Science from Edinburgh Napier University and a Master degree in Bio-pharmaceutical Sciences and Science-based-business from Leiden University. She is based in Boston.
