Imraan Ahmed is a Vice President at Radius Ventures, a New York based venture capital firm investing in leading-edge, expansion and growth equity stage health and life sciences companies.
Imraan focuses on innovative technology enabled services, informatics/analytics and medical technology companies catalyzing transformation within our healthcare system by driving down costs, increasing transparency and access, improving outcomes and serving unmet medical needs.
In his role at Radius, he is responsible for identifying/executing new investment opportunities and working closely with several Radius portfolio companies, as a board designee.
Before joining Radius, Imraan’s career spanned a diverse range of investing, entrepreneurial, and investment banking roles. Imraan earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was an InSITE Fellow and a member of Foundation Capital’s Young Entrepreneurs Program. He graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he was a Quest Honors Program Fellow.
Imraan is currently serving as a Class 20 Fellow within the Kauffman Fellows Program, an educational program designed to identify, develop, and network the next generation of global leaders within the venture capital industry.
