Jaahred Thomas is a Founding Partner of Connectivity Ventures, LP, Connectivity Ventures Fund GP, LLC and the Connectivity Ventures Fund, LP. Jaahred is responsible for running the due diligence process for the CVF. He is also a Partner of Connectivity Capital Partners LLC , the venture services firm which acts as an adviser to the CVF, where he plays a critical operating role in business acceleration activities, among other things. He brings valuable experience in interacting with both the management teams of early stage companies and large sophisticated investors from his prior roles in institutional equity sales.
Throughout his 17 years on Wall Street, the majority of Jaahred’s time was spent researching and selling equity holdings for companies in the Media & Technology, Healthcare, Financials, & Consumer/Retail sectors. Jaahred began his career with Hambrecht & Quist (H&Q), and in short order was co-managing one of the largest books of institutional equity business at the firm. When H&Q was bought by Chase, and subsequently merged with JPMorgan, he continued to be one of the top sales people on the institutional sales desk. He was then recruited by SunTrust Robinson Humphrey to help build their Technology and Healthcare businesses. Subsequently, he went on to assume increasingly senior roles with Oppenheimer Ladenberg Thalman, & First Albany Capital, where he focused more closely on work in private finance.
