Since November 2015, Luis has been leading Citi Ventures’ venture investing activities out of NY covering US East Coast/Europe. Luis partners closely with Citi businesses firmwide and the fintech ecosystem to identify and invest in innovative startups that can be strategic to Citi and where Citi can add value.

From 2008 to 2015, Luis founded and ran JPMorgan Chase’s Strategic Investments group; he was part of the investment committee, made over 40 investments, and participated in several boards. Previously Luis was a consultant at McKinsey and principal at Softbank.

Luis received his MBA from Harvard and BA from F&M.
