Viridian Capital Impact Advisors works closely with funds, family offices, corporates and institutions to accelerate investment impact across the spectrum of clean energy, cleantech and sustainability. Mr. Austin focuses on early stage technology ventures that can have outsize impact in the growing low carbon economy. He serves on the board of venture funded companies and, through his VC role, invested broadly in solar, wind, energy storage, energy efficiency, agtech, water and related technologies. A former tech serial entrepreneur, Mr. Austin managed a global technology program at UNDP’s Sustainable Energy & Environment Division. He is an Entrepreneur-in-Resident with NYSERDA (the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority); has mentored entrepreneurs in North America, Europe and Africa; and spoken at conferences in the US, Europe, Asia and Africa on venture investing, energy, strategy and entrepreneurship.
