Suzette is a Managing Partner of Triathlon based in Cincinnati. She brings over 25 years of venture investing and 10 years of operating industry experience in pharmaceuticals, devices, and diagnostics.

Prior to co-founding Triathlon, Suzette was a Managing Director of Senmed Medical Ventures, a corporate evergreen venture fund and served as a member of the Investment Committee from its creation in 1987 until 2003. She led strategic planning, market and industry research, clinical/regulatory and business analysis due diligence efforts for start-up through later stage investments. Prior to joining Senmed, Suzette served as Manager of Product Strategies for Sencorp’s surgical stapling business.

She started her career at SmithKline’s Pharmaceutical Division in market research supporting clinical studies designs, and regulatory and reimbursement planning. She was responsible for integrating SmithKline’s acquisitions of Allergan, Beckman, and the Clinical Laboratories.

She represents Triathlon as Chairman of the Board and on the Compensation Committee of Tolera Therapeutics, Inc., as board member for Juventas, Inc. Suzette also served on the Board, Audit and Finance Committee of Renal Solutions, Inc. prior to its 2007 sale to Fresenius, the Board and Compensation and Finance Committee of BioVex Group, Inc. prior to its 2011 sale to Amgen.

Suzette serves on the Advisory Board of Springboard Enterprises, and Pipeline. She is a trustee of the Greater Cincinnati Venture Capital Association and serves on the Dean’s Visiting Committee of Case Western Reserve University.

She holds a BA degree in Economics, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA in Finance and Decision Science from Wharton Graduate School, University of Pennsylvania.
